- Welcome New Member
We welcomed Caroline Halloran as a new AGA member. - New Officers Introduction (Starting from July 1, 2025)
Congratulations to all newly elected officers! We’re excited to work with you. - AGA NCC Meeting
The next National Council of Chapters (NCC) meeting is TBD. - Chapter Luncheons
o No AGA & SDFM lunch is scheduled for this month.
o The next AGA & SDFM Cleveland Chapters joint luncheon is tentatively set for December (date TBD).
- Welcome Dinner for Officer-Elects
Plans are in the works for an AGA welcome dinner to honor new officer-elects. - Upcoming Events
o Museum Visit: George Bermeo is planning a chapter museum outing.
o USS COD Submarine Memorial Tour: George is also coordinating this event.
- Chapter CCR Submission
o Final Chapter Citizen-Centric Report (CCR) submissions are due this month.
o Special thanks to Laura Restrepo and Tatiana Fonseca for their collaboration in producing a fantastic report!
- Tackle-It Tuesdays – AGA National Weekly Meetings
AGA National hosts “Tackle-It Tuesdays” every week from 3:00–4:00 PM ET.
These are informal and supportive sessions to help with chapter initiatives, answer questions, and connect with Chapter Services and Membership Managers.

- Please note, there is an SDFM after work social scheduled for Friday, June 13th from 3:00PM – 7:00PM at the Winking Lizard located at 1300 E. 9th Street, Cleveland, OH 4414. If you would like to attend, please send RSVPs to Jeannine Anderson at jeannine.m.anderson4.civ@mail.mil, Lillian Powell at Lillian.Powell9.civ@mail.mil and Simone Coleman at simone.s.coleman.civ@mail.mil.
– The joint AGA / SDFM Summer picnic is scheduled for Saturday, August 16th at Lakewood Park in Lakewood, OH in the Kiwanis Pavilion – Brown Section from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
-Chapter CCR Submission:
I will complete updates to the Chapter Citizen – Centric Report (CCR) before submission. There are some items (accomplishments) missing from the report that I would to add. I will also submit the CCR after updates are complete.
