AGA Meeting Notes- (Friday, 10/25/2024)

Hello AGA Officers,

AGA Updates and Announcements

1. AGA NCC Meeting:

• Ron Gedeon reviewed the last AGA NCC meeting. PDF notes have been shared.

Next NCC Meeting: Scheduled for Wednesday, November 30.

2. Picnic Update:

• The AGA & SDFM cookout picnic originally planned for October 5, 2024, was canceled due to low participation. An email proposing a reschedule for the second week of November was sent. Thanks to those who responded.

3. Luncheon Event Recap:

• The AGA and SDFM luncheon on October 23, 2024, went very well.
• The next luncheon event will be:

This will be a part of a brown lunch bag. You will get one CPE credit hour.

4. Chapter Citizen-Centric Reporting (CCR):

• CCR submissions are due by October 31, 2024.
• Laura, Tatiana, and I are working on the following:
  • AGA Standards and Guidance
  • CCR Townhall Slide Deck
  • CCR Examples from Previous Years
  • CCR Townhall Meeting Recording
  • We’re also creating flyers. Please send your picture or emoji sticker for inclusion in the report.

5. 5.Follow-Up on DFAS Activities:

• Ms. Ortiz requested Raji to consult with Heidi Hammond regarding AGA activities during DFAS time and using an alternate code for timesheets.

o Details: Virtual event, FREE for AGA Government Members; $70 for Non-members.

8. Additional Notes

• Business Cards: AGA Officers need business cards.
• Next Meeting: Scheduled for November 22, 2024.
• In-Person Gathering: Possible dates include November 19, 20, or December 3-4, 10-11, or 17-18.
• Charitable Donations: We will discuss charity options at the next meeting. Donations will also be made on behalf of speakers.
• Activities Planning:
